horizontal) es un ejercicio de DUI en el que un agente de polic\u00eda pide a una persona investigada que siga con los ojos la punta de un bol\u00edgrafo.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c59973c elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"c59973c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">\u00bfC\u00f3mo debe administrarse el Ejercicio HGN?\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-78abe21 elementor-widget class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>El nistagmo de mirada horizontal (NGH) se refiere a una sacudida lateral cuando el ojo mira hacia un lado. El consumo de alcohol dificulta la capacidad del cerebro para controlar correctamente los m\u00fasculos oculares, por lo que provoca la sacudida o rebote asociado al HGN. Seg\u00fan el manual de la NHTSA, la prueba HGN debe administrarse en una zona bien iluminada, alejada del tr\u00e1fico y de las luces intermitentes del veh\u00edculo policial. La prueba HGN requiere un objeto para que los sujetos lo sigan con la mirada, como la punta de una linterna. El agente coloca el objeto a una distancia aproximada de doce a quince pulgadas de la cara del sujeto y ligeramente por encima del nivel de los ojos. El agente indica al sujeto que siga el objeto con los ojos mientras mantiene la cabeza inm\u00f3vil.     <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e8a2c35 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"e8a2c35\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">\u00bfQu\u00e9 mide la polic\u00eda?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3ff7f6f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3ff7f6f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li>1 &#8211; Movimientos involuntarios del ojo &#8211; Si puedes seguir el objeto con movimientos suaves de ambos ojos<\/li><li>2 &#8211; Nistagmo diferenciado cuando el objeto se mantiene en un lado &#8211; El agente mueve el objeto hacia un lado, acercando el ojo todo lo posible, y mantiene el objeto ah\u00ed durante cuatro segundos. El agente observa si se produce una sacudida clara y sostenida del ojo en este punto. El agente mantiene el objeto en este punto durante al menos cuatro segundos para asegurarse de que el movimiento r\u00e1pido del objeto no haya podido causar la sacudida del ojo. A continuaci\u00f3n, el agente comprueba el ojo derecho.   <\/li><li>3 &#8211; Capacidad para seguir instrucciones &#8211; Si sigues las instrucciones que se te dan, o si mueves la cabeza mientras intentas seguir el objeto con los ojos, estas cosas se marcan en el informe de DUI del agente como se\u00f1al de posible deficiencia.<\/li><li>4 &#8211; Comportamiento general &#8211; Durante toda la investigaci\u00f3n por DUI la polic\u00eda est\u00e1 tomando notas sobre ti. Son simplemente dispositivos de medici\u00f3n que se utilizan para tratar de medir el deterioro potencial. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-51854e5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"51854e5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">\u00bfQu\u00e9 pasa si tengo una lesi\u00f3n que no me permite rendir bien?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-aa17ee4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"aa17ee4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Tras colocar el objeto, pero antes de realizar la prueba, el agente comprueba si hay signos de deterioro m\u00e9dico. En primer lugar, el agente comprueba la igualdad de seguimiento moviendo el objeto r\u00e1pidamente por todo el campo visual del sujeto para ver si los ojos siguen el objeto simult\u00e1neamente. A continuaci\u00f3n, comprueba si el tama\u00f1o de las pupilas es el mismo. La falta de igualdad de seguimiento o de tama\u00f1o de la pupila puede indicar ceguera en un ojo, un ojo de cristal, un trastorno m\u00e9dico o una lesi\u00f3n.
