A series of tips on how not to see a Miami personal injury attorney this summer. 🙂
Getting outside, playing sports, and riding bikes are some favorite summer activities. They are also activities that make people prone to injury if they are not careful. Reduce your risk of broken bones, concussions, and sports-related injuries with these simple tips:
- Always wear appropriate safety gear when taking part in any sport or activity like skateboarding or bicycling.
- Helmets reduce head injuries on bicycles by up to 85%, protecting your brain!
- Before playing this summer, head to the sports store and make sure you are stocked up on properly fitted helmets, mouthguards, wristguards, kneeguards, eye protection, and protective cups. Make sure you have well-fitted, quality footwear appropriate to your sport, in good repair.
- Be careful of movable soccer goals, which can fall over onto children. Anchor goals securely, and do not allow climbing or hanging on any part of the equipment. Remove nets when the goals are not in use.
- Begin with 10-30 minutes to stretch and warm-up before participating in any exercise, and do not play while injured.

I like that you say in your third paragraph to stock up on safety gear that's fitted. My kid's helmets are slightly too big for my youngest kid who's helmet was passed down to him from my oldest son. Having the fitted sizes seems like it would be immensely important now that you bring that up. We'll make sure to stay safe this summer to try to avoid any personal injuries!
