If you were in a car accident in the State of Florida and you are injured, the PIP insurance laws are here to help you.  Likely through your own insurance, but possibly through someone else’s insurance, the auto insurance company will pay for 80% of your medical bills up to $10,000.00 in treatment.  You can go to the hospital to get checked out or you can treat with a Chiropractic Physician or Physical Therapist as well.  These people will do an initial evaluation of your injuries, including x-rays and treatment on your injured areas.  They will order MRI’s if necessary to diagnose the extent of your injury.  You will also be sent to see an Orthopedic Surgeon or Neurologist who can review your MRI films and discuss your many options.  Surgery is not the only reason people go to visit specialists.  They are able to recommend strengthening exercises, pain management plans and other less invasive options before exploring surgery.  However, if surgery is needed, we work with some of the top surgeons in the state to help you get better.
