A Michigan mother was charged with retail fraud, child neglect, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor after she coerced her 11 year old daughter, her son, and a 61 year old woman into shoplifting clothing and other items for her from Old Navy. 
The 11 year old was arrested after being caught by security cameras stuffing $123.95 worth of merchandise into a bag. The 61 year old woman was also apprehended. 
The mother and son fled the scene, and the mother then refused to pick her daughter up from the police station, first denying, and then later admitting her involvement. The child was picked up by a relative.
