Jose Lambiet of the Miami Herald writes, “Donald Trump is getting ready for this week’s first Republican presidential debate, but his vying for the land’s highest office isn’t shielding him from slip-and-fall lawsuits. A Kentucky woman just filed a negligence action in a Miami-Dade County circuit court against The Donald’s Trump National Doral Miami because, she claims, she was injured in a fall in the resort’s pool area. Jill Faul, a recruitment specialist who works for UPS near Louisville, says she was enjoying some time off on Trump’s golf property when she fell hard on marble where water from the Jacuzzi made the floor ‘unreasonably slippery.’ For her pain and suffering, Faul wants more than $15,000. Faul didn’t returned calls for comment and neither did her lawyer. Trump has yet to be served the lawsuit, but chances are he’s got bigger fish to fry.”
